COMSOL, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to join its Boston office.
Primary responsibilities
- Provide technical support for users of COMSOL Multiphysics in the field of low and high frequency electromagnetics.
- Develop and teach training classes in electromagnetics modeling.
- Give COMSOL product demonstrations at seminars, workshops, conferences, and meetings with customers.
- Work collaboratively with developers to implement new features and participate in the overall product development of COMSOL Multiphysics.
Qualities
- Business oriented and willing to work with customers on a daily basis.
- Genuine interest of mathematical modeling, computational physics, and related software simulation tools, particularly within the field of electromagnetics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High energy, self-motivated, quick study with positive attitude, flexible nature and goal-oriented work habits
Requirements
- Ph.D. in engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences. Exceptional M.S. candidates will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience with computational modeling of Maxwell’s equations in low- and high-frequency regimes.
