COMSOL, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to join its Boston office.
Primary responsibilities
- Provide technical support for users of COMSOL Multiphysics in the fields of fluid dynamics, chemical engineering and heat transfer.
- Give product demonstrations at seminars, workshops, conferences, and meetings with customers.
- Act as instructor at product training sessions.
- Work collaboratively with development engineers and participate in product development.
Qualities

- Genuine interest of mathematical modeling, computational physics, and related software simulation tools, particularly within the fields of chemical engineering and fluid dynamics.
- Strong attention to customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High energy, self-motivated, quick study with positive attitude, flexible nature and goal-oriented work habits
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. student in engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences.
- Experience with mathematical modeling.
Preference given to those applicants who have experience with COMSOL Multiphysics.
