Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics

This tutorial gives you an introduction to modeling in COMSOL Multiphysics and takes you through all steps of the modeling process, from drawing or geometry import, meshing, solving, and postprocessing the results. The tutorial also focuses on the coupling of different, interacting phenomena in one model and shows how easy such kind of couplings can be handled.

Introduction into COMSOL Multigrid Solver

When set up in a right way, multigrid techniques provide optimum convergence order in the solution of elliptic (and some parabolic) problems while being very memory efficient. In this tutorial you will learn about the theoretical background of multigrid techniques and how to tune the geometric multigrid solver implemented in COMSOL to maximum performance.

Fluid-Structure-Interaction

Fluid-structure-interactions are characterized by the flow of a fluid being influenced by the deformation of a solid structure, which in turn is deformed by the forces exerted by the fluid. Modeling fluid-structure interaction (FSI) involves specific multiphysics couplings between the laws that describe fluid dynamics and structural mechanics.

Mastering AC/DC and RF simulations with COMSOL

This tutorial provides you with a general overview of how to set up, mesh and solve problems in electromagnetics. Static and low-frequency problems are handled as well as questions in the wave approach of Maxwell’s equations including the field of photonics. You also will learn tips and tricks how to use COMSOL in order to handle some difficult EM computational problems, for example high conductivity contrast and large scale variations.
