concentration discontinuity

hi,

My question is how to assign a variable for boundary condition to effectively give an argument for a concentration discontinuity (of type c1 = constant * c2) at say x=0.5 (1D prob).

Perhaps you should use the stiff-spring method. See, for example, to Separation Through Dialysis in the Model Library.
