pulsating heat source

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am new to COMSOL and I am trying to solve a simple 1D heat equation with a heat source Q(x,t) which is a function of position and time. Heat source is located from x=0.45 to x=0.55 and it needs to be on from t=0 to t=1. Total simulation time is t=100. All are non-dimensional parameters. I think I need to use flc2hs but am not sure how to use that function. Could anyone please help me with this.

Thanks a lot,
Lakshmi.
