Mesh / Solver Timeout

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi again :),

With my hookup with Comsol through matlabs live link it is possible to create new designs and then run simulations.

However on some occassions the designs seem to fail at the solver stage, they get stuck at about 30% 'Creating Mesh Boundary'.

The problem is that it causes Matlab to hang because it is waiting for an answer that never comes :).

I was wondering if there was a way to add a timeout to the solver so that any simualtion etc that takes longer then 30 seconds etc that it would then simply pass i guess null and matlab no longer hangs.

Currently I can display the progress bar which allows me to cancel by hand, but as you can imagine this kind of takes away to point of automated design :).

Regards MF
