Spherical component of radiated E-field in any RF model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

I am working with a loop antenna and trying to plot the spherical component of the E field around it. I have been able to find only Ex, Ey, Ez and Enorm components of the E-field. Is there a way to directly plot or extract E(phi) component of the E-field.

I am also attaching the model here.

Thanks in advance

Tauseef

Here is one on-line guide (among possibly hundreds available) that addresses how to convert between cartesian and spherical coordinate systems. http://www.uobabylon.edu.iq/eprints/paper_11_24775_76.pdf See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spherical_coordinate_system
