What is difference between 'Boundary current source' and 'Current source'? Help me

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello everyone, I have a question about setting in 'Electric Current' physics.

These days, I am doing COMSOL simulation about 'cylinder electrode'. I want to set a current of about 10uA comes out from that. Electrode's material is platinum. For this simulation, Which one is better? Boundary current source or Current source?

Actually,, I know that Boundary current source is for surface and Current source is for volume, but I am confused about which one is Ok to my simulation.

Thank you for reading and answering!!
