Weighted parameter estimation using the optimization module

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Good morning everyone, I would like to make a weighted parameter estimation using the optimization module. I have my experimental data of one output only (time vs Y). 5 experiments were made and at the same time the Y values were measured, so I have the standard deviations of the values and therefore their weights (each one has a different weight).

My question is, is there any way to integrate the weight of this measurements to the parameter estimation? I know I can do it with my experimental data, but it is possible to let COMSOL know that the values it is going to use for calculating the objective function have a weight associated with them (and again, each weight is different)?

I'd appreciate any guidance in this matter.
