Wall Shear Stress

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to find the wall shear stress in a low Re number k-epsilon model. I read this community post sayint that WSS = sqrt(spf.K_stressz^2 + spf.K_stressr^2). I am curious if this is correct? I have read many journals reporting negative wall shear stress in stenosis blood flow. From the above method, I can only get positive WSS.

Thank you very much for your help!
