Magnetic Helix

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to define a permanent magnetization in the center of a helix. I would preform a parametric sweep but I need the entire helix to be magnetized first.

It would be nice to define a spline vector through the center of the helix and then apply a magnetization along that spline vector. What is the best way to do that?

Thanks,
Blaise

I just realized this was a silly question. I simply defined a cylindrical boundary and it seems to be working just fine.

Thanks
