Simple 2D diffusion model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to model the diffusion of a concentrated solution (source) through a porous 3-channel device. My right channel is my source channel, and my left channel is my sink channel. I am interested in the gradient of concentration developed in the middle channel after an hour, after which I would like to reset the concentration of JUST the middle channel back to zero, and determine the time it takes to regenerate the gradient.

Is there a way to do this in COMSOL? I would essentially like to store the solution of my first time-dependent step and then input that solution as the initial values of my second time-dependent solution (with the exception of the middle channel domain).

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
