Particle tracing and DEM simulation

I want to use the Module of particle tracing to do the DEM simulation. However, there are two major problems, one is the wall condition, the other one is the interaction between particle. In COSMOL, the default setting for the interaction between particle is rigid collision, however, for the DEM simulation, it is defined the particles as soft particles.
Therefore, does anyone have the ideas to modify the model defined in the COMSOL to solve there problems? Could I use the matlab to change it? Many thanks to your help and kind reply.
