Polarization plot PEMFC

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

I need to compare the polarization plot (Current density vs Cell voltage) for a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) obtained with a COMSOL model to that obtained experimentally. The experimental polarization plot represents the total current density of the cell. However, I don't have found how I can calculate with COMSOL the total current density, since I'm only able to obtain the current density for each of the two reactions that take place. Is there any way to calculate the total current density vs the cell voltage? or can I assume that the total current density is the sum of the current density for the two reactions?

Thanks,
