Hello friends, I am beginner of comsol 3.5a. I have designed Photonic Crystal Waveguide. How can i calculate the parameters. How can i do Band gap analysis. After that, i have to plot PBG diagram. Please please help me.

Just some suggestions:

The latest COMSOL has been 4.4 something. It's highly recommended to use a newer version.

If you are truly a beginner, you'd better start with calculating the band diagram of a photonic crystal, instead of a waveguide, which could be a next step.

To obtain the band diagram, youu should use RF Module and eigenfrequency solver in COMSOL. Then you can try google or COMSOL documentation to figure out more details to do it.

I am using RF module and eigenvalue solver. but could not obtain dispersion diagram. and all curves in same plot. how??? can u tell me the whole process
