Boundary Condition problem in 2D axial symetry mantle convection model

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am trying to build a mantle convection model in 2d axial symmetry but unfortunately there is some glitch that is giving me tons of trouble and model is not running properly. The physics is a combination of time-dependent Incompressible Navier-Stokes and Convection-Conduction modules. My main concern is the boundary condition for temperature and velocities along r=0. All the other boundaries should not be too confusing to impose different boundary conditions.

The other problem is also the error : 6199 that I am getting for \rho=0 even when I have the allow complex checked. So I am using a very small value for \rho to avoid that error. I have attached the model for your convenience and hopefully I will get some useful feedback and able to solve this problem. Thanks a lot. Cheers.

-Gunjan.
