I am trying to model fluid coming out of a channel and coming in contact with another structure, when it comes out. I need to capture the stresses and deformations of that structure, due to the fluid's force. A good example would be jet water coming out of a hose and coming in contact with a soft membrane. As I understand, I cannot model this in fluid-structure interaction module, since the second structure (the wall) is not encapsulated by the fluid originally. Would you recommend a way that I could get started. Which modules I could use.
