The motivation for this work is to explore the combination of a multiphysics COMSOL model of the wing of the Pathfinder Plus research aircraft with a wavelet-based vibration detection scheme.

COMSOL Multiphysics is utilized to model the physics of the aerodynamics that produce vibration in the wing structure of the Pathfinder Plus. Next, three Daubechies wavelets are used to detect the vibration signal of the wing based on the signal’s frequency spectra.
