Using the Acoustics Module in the classroom

The Acoustics Module is the perfect tool for introducing the concepts of acoustic-wave propagation, sound damping, aeroacoustics, acoustics-structure interaction, and multiphysics modeling to the student engineer. It includes:
- Easy-to-use modeling interfaces—These provide students with everything required to study acoustic-wave propagation in air, water, and other fluids as well. Furthermore, fully developed interfaces for linear structural analysis allows you to couple vibrations in solids to acoustic wave propagation in air and water
- Flexible boundary definitions—Access to a large number of pre-defined boundary conditions such as absorbing, impedance, acceleration, radiation, and infinite boundaries allow for the easy simulation of modeling open and closed cavities
- Model Library—More than a dozen fully documented example models provide benchmarking, tutorial, and industrial examples from fields such as the audio industry, muffler design, SONAR, and noise-control applications
