Using COMSOL Multiphysics in the classroom
COMSOL's flexible licensing to enable large numbers of users to access the software.* The Class Kit License can be tied to a single class or course, or even to a computer lab for multiple classes to use. Large site licenses cover the use of COMSOL by thousands of students and teachers.
Students attending a course that uses COMSOL software can also install the software on their own computers for the duration of the course.
License options:
CPU Locked Single User License (CPU)
Any individual may use one concurrent session of a Program on a single designated computer at any given time, working from the console of that designated computer.
Floating Network License (FNL)
At any time you may have as many sessions of a Program in use as you have agreed to license. If the Program has the ability to run as a client and server on separate computers, only the FNL version gives you the right to use the Program in this configuration. Only users connected to the network can access the Program.
Class Kit License (CKL)
As many as 30 concurrent students can participate in a class kit license. This license is for academic use only.
