Have you ever had an STL, PLY, or 3MF file that needs to be repaired or improved before it can be used for simulations in COMSOL Multiphysics®? These files typically contain surface meshes that can originate from, for example, 3D scans. The steps to arrive at a working mesh may include repairing gaps in order to create watertight regions, improving the quality of mesh elements, adding a surrounding domain, and creating a volume mesh for simulation. Tune into this webinar to learn more about the workflow, the operations used, and best practices for working with imported surface meshes.
