This webinar will be split into modeling the generation of ultrasonic elastic waves and elastic wave propagation. Initially, an electromagnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT) will be introduced and the model setup will be demonstrated. Then, the wave propagation will be modeled using the new Elastic Waves, Time Explicit interface. This interface is based on the high-order discontinuous Galerkin method and uses a time-explicit solver. This interface is the natural choice for time-of-flight modeling.
The webinar includes a live demonstration of the software and a Q&A session.
