In this webinar, you will learn how to identify use cases where thermal radiation is an important contributing factor to heat transfer and how to confirm it using numerical simulation. We will show, in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software, how to simulate the full spectrum of thermal radiation techniques. We will also focus on surface-to-surface radiation and how diffuse and mixed diffuse-specular surfaces can be defined. In addition, we will demonstrate how the temperature dependency and wavelength dependency of radiative properties can be described to set up high-fidelity models.
