Tune into this 18-minute webinar to learn how to use the Optimization Module, an add-on product to COMSOL Multiphysics®, for parameter estimation in your models.

The Optimization Module can be used in order to determine input parameters in a model so that the output of the model matches experimental data. This type of problem is referred to as parameter estimation and is one of the most challenging optimization problems to solve. The Optimization Module can be used for parameter estimation for stationary, time-dependent, and space-dependent parameter values.

In this webinar, you will get an overview of the parameter estimation capabilities of the Optimization Module. Through a live demonstration, you will also learn how to define and solve these problems.

Kristian E. Jensen is part of the optimization group at COMSOL. He studied at the Technical University of Denmark, where he worked on topology optimization and differential constitutive equations for viscoelastic flow. He then focused on the combination of mesh adaptation and topology optimization at Imperial College London.
