You will learn how to set up and model ray propagation in an optical system. Different types of ray-boundary interaction, including absorption, refraction, and diffuse and specular reflection, will be discussed. You will also see how a ray optics model can be combined with other physics phemonena to create high-fidelity coupled multiphysics models.
