Surface Roughness- B parameter

Hello, I am currently trying to simulate surface roughness on the walls in my microchannel, and have read on several forums that the B parameter in the Turbulent Flow k-epsilon physics in the CFD Module can achieve this.
I have found that the default value is 5.2 corresponding to smooth walls, and was wondering what is the correlation between the B values and real-life measurements (cm,mm,nm etc)?
