Nonlinear Elastic Material Model in the Membrane Interface
The family of Nonlinear Elastic Material models, which are already available in the Solid Mechanics interface, have been added to the Membrane interface. It is now also possible to define your own material model using the User defined option. These material models are mainly intended for small to moderate strains.
Viscoelasticity, Plasticity, Creep, and Viscoplasticity Added to the Membrane Interface
The Membrane interface now includes the effects of Viscoelasticity, Plasticity, Creep, and Viscoplasticity. These options can be used together with the Linear Elastic and the Nonlinear Elastic material models:
- Generalized Maxwell
- Standard Linear Solid
- von Mises, Tresca, Hill, or User defined yield function
- Associated or non-associated hardening
- Isotropic or kinematic hardening
- Linear or user-defined hardening function
- User defined
User interface where you can add subnodes to the Linear Elastic Material node to include the effects of Viscoelasticity, Plasticity, Creep, and Viscoplasticity
Plasticity in the Truss Interface
The possibility to model elastoplastic materials has been added to the Truss interface as well. The functionality is essentially the same as in the Solid Mechanics and Membrane interfaces.
