Hi,When I try to refine the mesh ,it tell me that:' the following subdomains contain non-triangular elements and cannot be refinned' .By the way ,I use the mapped mesh in a subdomains of rectangle.Could anyone tell me how to do this ?

Hi

its "simply" because the mesh refiner does only accept to refine thets or tri elements (3D resp. 2D) if you use mapped mesh or sweep mesh you have quads or cubes. Try to use a "convert" on your quad mesh, that will make it into thets, bu note that your mesh becomes finer, you might end up with a RAM issue, if so, try to use a coarser mesh before the "conversion"

Good luck
