Breast Skin as Shell

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I'm creating a breast model with Comsol where principal tissue components are simulates (Glandular tissue, Adipose Tissue and Skin). Until now I modeled the skin as a 3D domain, but reading some articles regarding this field I note that it is more correct to consider it as a shell. So now my question is: How can I model the skin as a shell in contact with my hemisfphere representing glandular and adipose tissue? I have never used the shell node in Comsol Multiphysics.

Thanking you in advance, Best Regards
