the problem of probe

I'm sorry to bother you##But I have a problem that bothers me,I'm doing a simulation of liquid dripping onto a horizontal tube(Gas-liquid two-phase flow),I want to get the liquid film thickness value for the whole calculation time.However, the existing probe function module cannot capture the geometric distance at the gas-liquid interface. So I want to ask if there is a way to solve this problem. Can he program?The idea is to take a straight line (discrete into several points), judge the volume fraction of a certain phase of each point on the line during each calculation, and record the coordinates corresponding to the point whose volume fraction is 0.5.I guess...
