questions about the fsi and rotating machinery physics

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I already finish a rotating machinery physics study with the inlet air and outlet boundary conditions and the materials of both domain 1 and domain 2 are air, but in my case, domain 2 should be steel and the deformation of domain 2 exerted by the air pressure should be figure out. I am trying the add FSI physics into the model, but I totally have no clue how can I do it.

Could someone can give me some general tips? Especially, the boundary conditions confuse me. is that a fixed constrain can be the rotating wall?

Thank you so much!

Have a good day!
