Is it possible to introduce an abrupt potential change at an interior boundary?

Hi all, when I handle an electrostatic double layer, i.e., a thin dipole layer, the potential would abruptly change across the interior boundary, is it possible to handle such a discontinuity for the classical PDEs or the electrostatics module? Thanks.
