Electrodeposition Modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics®

July 21, 2026 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EDT

Back to Events Calendar

Electrodeposition is widely used in applications such as semiconductor processing, electronics manufacturing, metal refining, and surface coatings. Modeling and simulation can be used to better understand these processes and guide experimental testing, design optimization, and process operation.

In this webinar, we will discuss the modeling capabilities in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software for electrodeposition applications. We will show how to predict current distribution, deposition rate, and coating uniformity for complex geometries under realistic operating conditions.

We will also cover how multiphysics effects such as flow, temperature, and deformed geometry can be included to help cell designs and optimize electrodeposition processes. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
