Adding new turbulence models in COMSOL

Hi Everyone,

I would like to implement new turbulence models in COMSOL 4 that are appropriate for modeling transition (e.g. v2f e-n etc...) to compare with the existing low Re k-e and k-omega models.

What is the best practise for implementing the models and thier respective BCs in order to ease thier repeated usage and share-around afterwords? e.g. gui *.mph file, m-file or Java source code?

My vote would be for the native COMSOL .mph format. Not everyone will have access to MATLAB, and few in this forum work with Java on a regular basis. I look forward to your contribution. I think it could be very valuable to the COMSOL community.

We are also interested in other turbulence models, especially for use with the Particulates Physics. Has anyone done any work in this area?
