plot not showing variation

I'm having problems with a new install not showing voltage variation in a slice plot.
I've attached a super simple 2D capacitor and a screen shot of the slice plot on the machine in question (Windows 7).
The other machine (mac) and building the same capacitor in 4.1 (on Vista) showed the plot correctly.

Any ideas?
