Query MATLAB model structure

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

If I import a model (from COMSOL v4.2) into MATLAB how do I query its structure to find out how it is composed. I know the .m file will tell me but I want to query the model parameters from my own script.

For example, from the .m file I know ...

model.material('mat2').propertyGroup('def').set('relpermeability', '1');
model.material('mat2').propertyGroup('def').set('heatcapacity', '475[J/(kg*K)]');
model.material('mat2').propertyGroup('def').set('thermalconductivity', '44.5[W/(m*K)]');
model.material('mat2').propertyGroup('def').set('electricconductivity', '4.032e6[S/m]');
model.material('mat2').propertyGroup('def').set('relpermittivity', '1');

So how from the MATLAB command line could I find out what variables mat2 was composed of? For example in 3.5a I would do something like:

fem.appl{1}.mat

Many Thanks.
Tom
