use two physics in a model

I want to couple electrostatic physics and conductive media DC to model a system consists of electrodes on substrate in a box full of air. and there is cells on top of electrodes which i consider.
I am not sure if I am doing a right process for mixing the physics so I would be really grateful if someone could give me a comment on this

what I do is:
I choose the substrate and cells sub-domain to be active in electrostatics. and I choose air, electrodes, and cells to be active in Conductive media DC.
my question is, is that right to active a sub-domain in both physics? [I do this because I need to define permittivity of cells and it is not possible in conductive media physics]
