The far field in COMSOL is not a function of the distance to origin

Hi,

I find the far field calculated in COMSOL is only a function of direction. For radiation pattern application, it is definitely ok to neglect the dependence on distance. But what if total scattered energy concerns?

The far field value is constant respect to distance, meaning it is calculated at some specific value of distance. Does any body know this?

Thanks!
