Do I need to add a weak term on the boundary?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi, all!

In my model, two application modes are coupled. One Dirichlet boundary condition has the dependent variable from the other application mode in the expression. How should I deal with the boundary condition?

Since the Dirichlet boundary condition depends on the other dependent variable, I wonder if the boundary integral in the weak form can be dropped. If not, should I add both the weak term and the Dirichlet boundary condition, or only add the weak term?

Thanks!
