Comsol 4.1 with Matlab 2011b

Dear All,

I am trying to connect Matlab 2011b to the Comsol Server I started locally.
However, when I type 'mphstart' in matlab I get the following error:

Error using mphstart (line 71)
A connection to Comsol could not be established.
Please check that a Comsol Server is started prior
to calling mphstart

Even though the comsol server is running and the comsol client has no problem connecting

Can anyone help?
