measuring outflow of a species

I am trying to measure the number of electrons that exit a diode in order to determine current. I am using outflow as a boundary condition from transport of diluted species. How to I measure the outflow?

See attachment for a 2D. I have not tried this.

Go to Results, Derived values, Select line average, choose data set (solution 1 or whatever), select which time you want, in selection, click manual, select the boundary across which you want to compute flux, under expression select normal convective flux.

If you want boundary integrated flux, then instead of average choose "integration", "line integration" assuming 2D.
