local coordinates and material anisotropy

Hi,
I am trying to build a 3D heat transfer model of a machine stator coil. As the bulk material is anisotropic i would like to keep the anisotropy consistent around the bends of the coil. This would be easy if i could define a second local cylindrical coordinate system for the bend but comsol doesnt allow me to do this. any ideas as to how to go about defining the material at the bend.

thanks in advance,
Leon
