squeeze film damping coefficient computing

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear All,

actually i saw your paper about squeez fim damping simulation in comsol and i have a question : I simultate the squeeze film daming under my membrane, evrything is work fine and i get the pressure distrubution, but for computing the damping coefficient im not sure about my expression.
normally it should be the surface integration (where the pressure affect the membrane) by the velocity so i maked this expression
real(solid.pfilm/solid.Uave)
is it ok the type of velocity ???

Cheers
Mohamed
