Meshing a Dome

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

Can anyone help me in meshing this dome.

I tried to mesh with Free Tetrahedral but that gives an error "A degenerated triangle was created".

And Swept mesh didn't work.

Thanks
Andy

Hi

one limitations in 3.5 at least (not sure about 4) is that a revolve mesh (not sweep) requires quads on the axis, but only if the axis is part of the "revolve", one can always transform the resulting prisms to thets witht the convert, or add a tine hole at the axis and fill it in later, if required

Good luck
