Acoustic materials can exhibit a wide range of behaviors, from attenuation and dispersion in fluids to damping in solids, sound absorption in porous materials, and coupled behavior in transducer materials. In this webinar, we will discuss how different material models available in the COMSOL Multiphysics® software can be used to accurately represent these effects in acoustics simulations.

We will cover fluids with different loss models, porous acoustic materials, and elastic materials ranging from isotropic to fully anisotropic descriptions. We will also discuss damping models, viscoelastic and poroelastic materials, and materials used in electromechanical transducers such as piezoelectric.

Attend this webinar to learn about the range of acoustic material models available in COMSOL Multiphysics®, what material properties are needed to use them, and how to select suitable models for fluids, solids, porous media, and transducers. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
