By using an Identity Pair together with Continuity in the physics interface you will get an analogous coupling.

Hi Henrik,
Thanks for your reply. In a paper, it was mentioned that they have used tie constraint to make a perfect bonding between shell and solid in ABAQUS. So, does it mean they have used identity pair and Continuity for shell-solid perfect connection?

Hi Shaghayegh,
In that case, you should use a Solid-Shell Connection multiphysics coupling.
