As Comsol has not implemented contact algorithm into Shell mode (v4.2a) I am wondering if somebody of you meets the same problem and knows or have any idea how to simulate contact between two shells.
kind regards,
Hey,
I am wondering if you have a solution or a work around for your problem? From what I know, the Contact problem is available only for Solid Mechanics interface and we cannot define on a boundary in 3D. One can define it on a thin domain but it makes the model big and takes much time to solve.
Best,
