PML for 2D model in pressure acoustics

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I recently encountered a problem where I need to calculate the eigen modes of a rectangular waveguide with a side rectangular cavity sandwiched by two PML regions. I tried the built-in PML in definitions, but they don't seem to work very well and I get very weird pressure field distribution. The PML regions are not the way that they're supposed to be. It should be very simple, but I just can't get the result I wanna. So I am just wondering if there is any special techniques that I need to use when setting up the PMLs. thanks.
