                                                    Uma,
First you need to decide whether you want to simulate pyroelectric or piezoelectric effect. Those are different animals. For piezoelectricity you will find examples in the application library and maybe in the blog.
Cheers
Edgar

In version 6.1, to be released later this year, there will actually be two new multiphysics interfaces for modeling pyroelectricity. One that deals only with the electrical-thermal coupling, and one that involves also piezoelectricity.
But today, you would have to resort to equation based modeling, coupling for example Electrostatics and Heat Transfer in Solids if you want to model pyroelectricity.
