3D Electric Current in non conventional coil

Hello,

I am trying to create a 3D Time Domain current in a coil that has a non conventional shape, say a J-shape where the current enters one boundary on the J and leaves on the other. Does anyone know how to do it? I have a figure of the problem attached. I also attached the COMSOL file, created in 5.4

Can you right-click on Magnetic Fields (mf) and screenshot this menu-choices from Version 5.4?

I would recommend to use volume coil, instead of surface current density, which seem to make no sense in this context.

Are you sure that Ampere's Law 2 creates a permanent magnet? Did you try it in an abstract context/file?
